When you go to meet with a mortgage lender, you’ll likely need to provide information such as your current address, employment details, documentation to verify income and most recent credit card statements. To find out exactly what you need to bring to your appointment, ask the mortgage lender prior to your meeting. Spring market can get a bit crazy. By getting pre-approved in advance, you’ll be all set for starting your search with an exact budget in mind.

Step 2: Determine Your Priorities
